Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are thin laminates that are bonded to the front of your teeth to improve the appearance of your smile by changing the shape, color, size or length. If you have teeth that are chipped, slightly misaligned, discolored, or perhaps irregular shape veneers may be an option. We, at Simply Dental, work closely with the lab to create veneers that will not only look aesthetic but natural.
Teeth Whitening
As people age, it is common for teeth to become dull and yellow. Smoking and what we eat and drink can also adversely affect the color of out teeth. A diet rich in foods with dyes or drinking tea, coffee or red wine routinely can cause unsightly staining. Brushing immediately after eating and drinking can help to prevent stains to some degree but is typically not enough to remove the risk entirely. Fortunately, stained and yellow teeth don’t have to stay that way. We often recommend teeth whitening because it is without question the easiest and least invasive way to improve your smile.
Cosmetic Dental Bonding
Bonding is the application of a tooth-colored resin called composite to fix the shape or color of your tooth. Composite bonding can easily repair chips, fractures, decay, and discolored teeth. Unlike porcelain veneers, which are fabricated in a laboratory and require multiple visits, composites can be applied in a single office visit with minimal tooth removal.

The short answer: it depends. Some cosmetic procedures are, in fact, covered by dental insurance when the treatment restores damaged teeth and improves your overall oral health.
